1. Hike at Beavers Bend State Park

Hiking is a great way to be stress-free and get some fresh air, immerse in beautiful views, and enjoy nature. Beavers Bend State Park has a lot of hiking trails that will showcase the beauty of Broken Bow. Here are some trails would want to check out:

Lookout Mountain Trail is a little challenging hike. It is a 4.7km loop trail that usually takes an average of 1hr and 26 minutes to complete. It is a very popular area to hike so expect to meet other travelers as well. 

Friends Trail Loop is an easy-to-follow trail that leads to a waterfall and great views! It takes an average of 43 minutes to complete.

Cedar Bluff Nature Trail is a fairly easy walk that only takes 15 minutes to the top. Grab some snacks or food and plan this hike around sunset.

2. Check out a Local Restaurant

There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the area and in Hochatown — just a few minutes’ drive away. The food here is delicious so make sure to check it out. We’ve rounded up a list of restaurants you may want to try here.

3. Enjoy the Waters of Mountain Fork

There are so many activities you can do on the river! Love fishing? The river was hailed as the best whitewater stream in Oklahoma and it is the premier destination for trout fishing. It also features a lot of other activities you can do like rafting, canoeing, and kayaking.
